We reserve the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.

These terms are to be adhered when using our website, booking forms, and our studio space.

"Lab & Co" refers to our studio space and all the fun things it contains in terms of furniture, props, lighting, and backdrops. It also includes its directors, employees, and contracted staff. References to “you, you’re, you’ve” means the person hiring, and signing these terms and conditions.  (known as “Site” in this document), and requesting and booking services from Lab & Co (known as "The Lab", “We”, “Our”, or “Us” in this document). Services can also be known as “Bookings/Hiring” in this document, referring to booking and hiring Lab & Co.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Our Services.

By making a Booking through Our Site or Our Social Media, You warrant that You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts, and You have fully read and agreed to Our Terms & Conditions.

✔ Using Our Space 

​

Lab & Co studio is an inclusive, immersive playground for those wanting to create artistic content. The Lab is set up to provide a space for private events, videography, and photography shoots. Bookings need to be made in advance and are subject to availability.

Keep in mind that unless you book the entire studio for your session, you may be sharing with other content creators at the same time. If this is the case, please let us know ahead of time which part of the space you're wanting to use, so there is no overlap. Be aware that the The Lab is an open space and sound carries very well.

Please treat the space with care and leave it as you found it. If anything gets damaged, let us know as soon as possible. We expect you to replace or fix to a high standard anything that gets damaged during your hire of the space. This includes but is not limited to liquid spills, furniture breakage, electronics malfunctions, and anything body-fluid related.

The Lab does not allow pornography to be made or affiliated with the content created on Our property. While nudity is acceptable in the context of boudoir, BDSM themed, and artistic creative content, sex on the premises is prohibited. Any content using blood or other bodily fluids is strictly prohibited. Wax and body paint usage can be requested, and only acceptable if agreed upon at time of Booking. If you are found violating these terms you will be BANNED indefinitely.

 

✔ Booking Lab & Co. - Prices & Payment

The Lab reserves the right to revise its prices at any time prior to accepting a booking.

The prices quoted may be revised by The Lab subsequent to accepting a Booking in the event of any occurrence caused by government action, variation in world health issues (eg Covid Pandemic), increased living costs, and any other matter beyond the control of the The Lab. In that event, You will have the right to cancel Your Booking.

If You wish to request a quote or booking on Our Site, You may be asked to supply certain information relevant to Your request including, without limitation, Your name, Your email, Your phone number, Your address, and what you intend to use Lab & Co for. Upon making a booking You will be given details to pay using a bank transfer, or make a payment using third party accounting software. We will never directly ask for Your account information or debit/credit card numbers.

You represent and warrant that: (i) You have the legal right to use any credit or debit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with Our Services, and that (ii) the information you supply to Us is true, correct and complete.

By submitting such information, You grant us the right to provide the information to payment processing third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Your Services. We strongly advise You to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that You visit.

 

✔ Third Party Websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Lab & Co.

The Lab has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that the Company shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content or services.

✔ Release Forms 

Your use of The Lab for videography and photography of other people requires a release form to be signed by ALL parties. Your release form should clearly explain how the images or content will be used, who owns the images or content, and what fees are involved for the talent or hirer of the space, if any.

It is Your responsibility to keep a copy of all signed releases and share a copy with your talent as a matter of process.

 

✔ Privacy 

We take privacy very seriously. What happens in The Lab stays in The Lab - unless You have written consent, and a signed release form, to share it.

Personal information and content must stay confidential unless everyone involved has signed a release form for it to be shared.

If you share something You’re not allowed to share, it could mean You’ll lose access to The Lab.

 

✔ Respect the Space 

This is a shared space, so please respect it and everyone using it. Be kind, be respectful. Harassment or discrimination of any kind won’t be tolerated.

Disrespectful people will be asked to leave and banned from using The Lab in the future.

After a booking concludes, You may receive a review request. We always want to know how we are servicing our community and Your Feedback to Us.

 

You assign all rights, title and interest in any Feedback You provide the Company. If for any reason such assignment is ineffective, You agree to grant the Company a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty free, worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, disclose, sub-license, distribute, modify and exploit such Feedback without restriction.

 

✔ Cancellations & Rescheduling 

 

We get it, life happens, but not showing up to your booked shoot time sucks for everyone.

You can cancel your booking with 48 hours notice for a full refund of hire fees. We can also reschedule your booking with 48 hours notice. Refunds and reschedules are not available for no shows or cancellations sooner than 48 hours notice.

 

✔ Liability stuff 

 

The Lab is not responsible for any personal belongings that get lost, stolen, or damaged during your time here.

You are in charge of Your own safety and the safety of your team, talent, and gear while using The Lab.

 

✔ Changes to These Terms and Conditions

 

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion.

 

By continuing to access or use Our Site after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms. If You do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the Site and The Lab.

 

By booking and using The Lab, you’re agreeing to these terms. Break the rules, and your booking will be cancelled without a refund. No exceptions.
